Event Summary:
Join us on Saturday, September 9th 2023 at 8:00 AM for the Jesse James 5K /10 K run /walk. The race will take place on both the Jesse James Park and Mack Porter Park tails. Starting on the Jesse James Park side.

This is a paved trail run, with Start and finish at the same location. The 5k runners will make one loop, the 10K runners will loop the course twice. You will cross the foot bridge that links the two great trails together. Plus, you get to take on the Jesse James Park BIG HILL, 10k runners get to tackle it TWICE!

This race is a great chance for the whole family to take part in!

5K & 10K Fees are:
$30.00 if pre-Registered (by midnight on September 5th)
$35.00 After until Race Start

5K & 10K AGE GROUP AWARDS:
• 5-year age categories
• 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19,20-24, 25-29, 30-34,35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65+ over.
• Both Male and Female age group winners
• 1 Male overall winner for each timed race
• 1Female overall winner for each timed Race
• If you are the top overall winner, you will not place in you age group the 2nd place in the age group will become the 1st place for that age group.

Are Strollers allowed?:
This year they are welcome line up closer to the back of the start line.

Is walking allowed?:
Yes, walking is allowed. You may jog, walk, run, or sprint. Just make sure you let the fasters runner’s pass on your left.

Is the race dog Friendly?:
Only as spectators cheering you on when you cross the finish line (woof, woof) and ON A SHORT LEASE AT ALL TIMES !! After the race, take the dogs down to the NEW Bark park at Jesse James park and they can run off the lease, plus play with any new friends they might have made. Don’t forget to clean up after your furry friend.

Is there same day packet pick up?:
YES, it starts at 6:30 AM

Is there same day Registration?:
YES, it will start at 6:30 AM tee shirt NOT guaranteed, plus the price is higher that day so just go ahead and sign up early.

Where do we Park?:
Please Park in the Grassy Lot across from the large pavilion.
Which is super close to the starting line this year!

Packet Pick-up:

Same day packet pickup race morning stating at 6:30 AM.

Race route: Jessie James Park and Mack Porter Park trails.
